"Capturing Moments That Last A Lifetime..."
About The Artist

Denise Batiste started capturing moments on film at the young age of seven when she received her first camera from her parents as a Christmas present. She's always been fascinated by the emotion and beauty of photography. As a young child, she was mesmerized by the images on the pages of Look and Life magazines.  In high school, she served as a yearbook editor and was responsible for designing the layout of the photographs on the pages.  While attending the University of Rochester, she worked for four summers as an intern at Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester, NY.  Her lunch hours were usually spent in the Camera Club Darkroom at Kodak Park where she fine-tuned her photography skills by developing her own prints.  After a successful sales & marketing career in Corporate America, Denise was able to follow her lifelong dream of becoming a professional photographer.

Denise honed her skills by participating in many organizations including the Professional Photographers' Society of New York State,  the Greater Rochester Professional Photographers and the Digital Wedding Forum.  She completed numerous photography courses at The Community Darkroom.  She continues to sharpen her skills through ongoing conferences, seminars and webinars.  As a former fashion model, Denise knows first-hand what it's like to be in front of the camera.  Now that she's behind the camera, she uses that knowledge to make her clients feel comfortable. Whether she's photographing a lavish wedding, a surprise birthday party or a high school senior's yearbook photograph, she brings out the best in her clients by making them feel at ease.
